They say that one thing you can do to improve your chances of success is to simply spend time with successful people. It's harder to be complacent with mediocrity when everyone else is celebrating their achievements and you can be a witness to their successful habits. Yesterday I had the honor of spending hours with success... with my business mentor. He gave me lots of specific tips on ways to grow Viglo and ideas on how to improve the product. But what energized me the most was his enthusiasm for Viglo's vision to be a company where the users welcome the hardship and difficulties of learning a language and take pride in overcoming it.

This vision of Viglo is how he made a case that I need to hurry up and start finding customers now. I explained to him that I'm still working on the Viglo call methodology, and want that ironed out before I begin trying to get customers. He told me that if I can find customers who appreciate Viglo's vision to be challenged (rather than using language apps to babysit their minds), they might forgive Viglo for not being ready, while enjoying being a part of to process of improving it. It really is time to get seeking customers.

(It's funny, I began writing this just to share some of the things my business mentor said, but I still wasn't convinced to look for customers now. However, in the middle of writing this post his wisdom really did finally hit me and I'm going to begin crafting my message tomorrow)
