Marketing to People Who Absolutely Don't Need Your Product

A counterintuitive consideration for promoting Viglo

A thought just popped into my head, and I don't know why. What would happen if I marketed my Spanish learning product to native Spanish speakers who have absolutely no use for it? Maybe these native Spanish speakers would know people trying to learn Spanish and tell them about Viglo. Though why would they share an unknown product to their friends who are learning Spanish? How could I incentive them to share Viglo with their Spanish learning friends? For some reason this is a thought that my gut says is worthwhile trying, but I don't really know why. When I have more time, I would like to explore this path later.
